Robert was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. For the past 12 years, he has been globetrotting as a professional basketball player. He learned many lessons along the way about communication, money management, and performing in high stress situations. He learned the importance of genuine relationships and this prepared him for his transition to becoming a mortgage advisor.
Robert believes becoming a homeowner is a great accomplishment. His goal is to make the home buying process stress free and as fulfilling as possible. He strives to achieve this through four important components: communication, education, transparency, and follow through. Robert says, “In my experience, most issues can be solved or avoided, through the stress of financing a home, with these four things in mind.”
Outside of work Robert keeps busy investing time in his most important assets; his wife and two young kids; challenging them to an occasional UNO, Yahtzee, or card game, watching movies, or coaching/attending one of their sports events.
Robert also serves as a board member of Sunshine to Love, a nonprofit organization that aims at providing a better quality of life to children with cancer as well as to their families.
