Rusty has served in the nonprofit sector for nearly two decades and has a deep passion for serving others. He has also been involved in the housing industry with multiple rental properties in the Portland metro area which he has successfully managed since 2007. His passion to serve others combined with his experience in property management led him to pursue mortgage advising. He first came to Root Mortgage as a client and immediately saw the difference in working with a mortgage company that takes the time to understand its clients personally. He is eager to pass on the Root difference to every client he meets.

In his spare time you can find Rusty with his wife and three kids enjoying the Columbia River.
